The Fat Steelhead Has Sung....

Not to sound too sentimental, but yesterday was the last day on my calendar for the 06/07 Steelhead season on the Trinity. It's nice to go out with a bang, and I had hoped that I could end this season respectfully at the very least. So, with perfect water conditions, great weather and eager anglers we set out to see what the day would bring. I won't drone on about details, how big the fish were, how many we caught etc. There's plenty of that to go around. My guests are the ones that do the talking on my behalf, and rightfully so. The fishing experience I provide is completely trustworthy. So I will leave it at this, I was proud of the results, especially for how late in the season it was. My hat is off to this river and the wonderful fishing it continues to provide. I promise to get more involved with conserving this resource. I feel compelled to give to a river that has given me so much. I am very happy to have been able to participate in the past season on the Trinity and I am very much looking forward to the 07/08 season.

Until then.... see you on the water!
